Bowser Bean

Worth Stopping For

THE BRIEF

TO GET: REGIONAL VICTORIANS

TO: THINK OF BOWSER BEAN AS A PREMIUM ROADSTOP

BY: REMINDING THEM JUST HOW BAD A TYPICAL “SERVO” EXPERIENCE CAN BE

THE OUTCOME

When our friends and partners over at agency 10 feet tall hit us up to execute the TVCs for coffee pit stop ‘Bowser Bean’, we loved the notion of portraying the more typical – and highly relatable – pitstop experience. You know the one; the shitty sandwich, the shitty spluttering coffee machine, the last stale burger on the heated shelf.

Relatability is such a key tool in ensuring, to an audience, that the brand gets them. When you execute a campaign that accurately portrays a problematic lived experience – and bad food and coffee has got to be one of the most problematic of them all! – then audiences place more emphasis on the trustworthiness of a brand to fix that problem.

Enter… great coffee. Enter… delicious fresh burgers and sandwiches. Enter… Bowser Bean.
