Our next Monster and Bear project is well underway and it is probably the most challenging concept our crew has attempted yet. This time, it is a music video for progressive rock band ‘Ennis Tola’.

Without giving too much away, the industrial laneway location, supplied by Clifton Productions, had to be given a makeover (or should we say ‘make under’) in order to turn it into a rubbishy city alleyway location. There was garbage, wooden transport pallets and stencil art everywhere! Even the band members got in on the action!
Due to the challenge of all band members’ availability, we turned (what should really be) a two-night shoot on its head and completed it in one. They said it couldn’t be done, but with numerous helpers and crew coming in from around the country we managed to squeeze our final shot in just as first light crept over the top of the Clifton Productions buildings.

So with one day (night) of shooting down, we are now starting to organize the second day of shooting which shouldn’t be as chaotic but just as much fun… we get to hit a girl with a car!
Big thanks to everyone that helped out. Thanks especially to Lisa Mangion, who flew down from Sydney to do some incredible work on the prosthetic makeup, Alan Macgill, who stepped in at the last minute to AD, our ever reliable Director of Photography, Josh Mitchell-Frey, who did a bang up job, and to the multitude of Gaffers (Stephen, Deanne) and crew who stepped in at different hours of the day/ night/ morning. We couldn’t have done it without you.
